Baseball's "Big Train" has filled and out and signed this check in bold (9-10/10) black fountain pen ink. Made payable to "Barbara Johnson", the check itself rates NRMT, save for one vertical fold line and bank cancellation marks touching only the "J" in Johnson. The original family source of Walter Johnson checks has has run dry, leaving the supply limited to those specimens currently in circulation.
