1947 Frank Nighbor Hockey Hall of Fame Induction Letter (14x8.5")
Spectacular document presented to Frank Nighbor of the Ottawa Senators announcing his induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame. Magnificent top border with "Hockey Hall of Fame" in blue with dynamic player's logo. Goes into great detail on his fantastic career. From February 21, 1947, it is mint signed at the bottom by J. Stuart Crawford, President of the International Hockey Hall of Fame. Honorary Presidents line one side including Norris, Smythe, Adams, Patrick, and many more. Document predates the current shrine, resituated to Toronto in the Sixties. A few tiny tears have been professionally repaired o/w EX. This is the only letter of this type that we have ever seen.
