1947 Jackie Robinson Rookie of the Year Pennant
Rare pennant is the only one we have seen of this style. Impressive image of Jackie in the field shows him as a Brooklyn Dodger first baseman. His rookie year of 1947 was the only year he played there exclusively -- hence, the rarity (added with the fact that this was only distributed in black neighborhoods). Most of the Jackie Robinson mer-chandising you see is from 1949 (his MVP year). This pen-nant is as rare as World Championships in Ebbets (only one). NRMT, 22" long, not counting the tassels.
