1947 Montreal Royals Team Signed Baseball with Campanella
Branch Rickey’s plan in 1947 to break baseball’s color line resulted in some of the greatest talent the sport had ever seen. Aside from the immortal Jackie Robinson, he also recruited Hall of Famer, Roy Campanella, whose signature along with those of 15 other minor league Montreal Royals teammates rests on this Official International League baseball. The ball is evenly toned to a cream-color, the bold blue ink signatures showing up nicely. Average grade is 7-8. Ball itself is EX-MT.
