1948 Babe Ruth & George H.W Bush Photograph - Signed by Bush (PSA)
Photograph signed by George H. W. Bush, 41st President of the United States. The photo, which pictures Bush as a member of the Yale baseball team posing on the field with Babe Ruth in 1948, has been flawlessly signed in black Sharpie (grading 10/10) upon his image. This is a famous photo which has been reproduced countless times in books and publications. Bush was captain of the Yale baseball team in 1948 and therefore received the honor of accepting the original manuscript of Babe Ruth's autobiography, titled "The Babe Ruth Story," for donation to Yale's library. The ceremony took place on June 5th, which was just two months before Ruth's death. The black-and-white second-generation photo (7.25x9.25"; visible dimensions) is in apparent Mint condition.
