1948 Jackie Robinson Signed Bank Check
Check please! Hall of Famer and Civil Rights hero Jackie Robinson made out this bank check to American Airilnes on October 8, 1948, just five days after the end of his second major league season. The writing is solely in Robinson's hand and signed in 9/10 ink. The check - which is in the amount of 363.06 - has a few creases and tears around the edges but otherwise in EX condition.
