1948 NY Giants Chesterfield Cigarettes Contract Signed Horace Stoneham
Very interesting contract detailing the agreement between the New York Giants and Chesterfield Cigarettes discussing both the advertising and broadcasting rights. This relationship between the Giants and Chesterfield spurred some of the great baseball advertising of the 1940's and 1950's including players such as Willie Mays, Monte Irvin and Leo Durocher. One of them is shown here but not included with the lot. Tough Stoneham signature.
