Presentation copy of the George Foster Peabody Radio Award given to Roger Muir, the Executive Producer of The Howdy Doody Show. Presented to Howdy Doody and NBC for “Outstanding Children’s Program” for 1948, this 11x14” document mounted on heavy board and was given to Mr. Muir in 1949. Comes with a signed typed letter from Mr. Muir stating authenticity. The first important television award ever given.
