1950's Heisman Winner Vic Janowicz Game Used Baseball Bat
Vic Janowicz won the Heisman Trophy his junior year as halfback for the Ohio State Buckeyes. In 1952, after being drafted in the 7th round, Janowicz turned down offers to play in the NFL to pursue a professional baseball career. He made it to the majors with the Pittsburgh Pirates and was a bench player for two seasons before heading to the NFL for a career cut short by a tragic, paralyzing injury. Here is a vintage 34.5" H&B S2 Vic Janowicz model baseball bat game used by the versatile athlete between 1953 & 54. The bat is cracked and has the remnants of tape along the handle. "31" is written on the knob end in black marker.
