Striking cream wool sweater worn by Tod Sloan while with the Toronto Maple Leafs during the early 1950's. Intricate blue felt leaf on the chest with meandering stitch reinforcing the thick felt number "20" on the back. This uniform has seen some recent restoration as no less than forty-five small moth holes have been repaired with neat white stitchwork. The result is certainly pleasing to the eye. Tagged in the tail by Tease Knitting of Toronto. A wonderful Original Six era wool.
