1950-51 Canadiens Team Signed Jean Beliveau Game Used Rookie Stick
"Gentleman" Jean Beliveau brought class to the game of hockey. This memento from his first season in the NHL is truly amazing. A bold "17" is stamped on the shaft matching the number on the back of the sweater worn by Beliveau during his two game stint with the Habs in 1950-51. The "Jimmy McNiece" and "Grant & Bennett" supplier stamps decorate the shaft. The stick is signed by a total of nineteen Canadiens including Maurice Richard, Doug Harvey, Elmer Lach, Bernie Geoffrion and Bert Olmstead. The signature of Claude Robert, just up for a "cup of coffee," further dates the stick to the 1950-51 season. This one is in pristine condition with all of its original tape and accent striping intact. From the collection Beliveau's business partner, with an LOA.
