1950 Luckman And Lujack Bread For Health Cards
The Bond bread company served the Wilmington, Delaware and Philadelphia Pennsylvania areas until they went out of business in the late 60s/early 70s. The company included football cards with their loaves and these two cards are of two all time great Chicago Bears quarterbacks: Johnny Lujack and Sid Luckman. The cards are 2-7/8 X 2-7/8” at their widest points. The four corners are cut out in semicircle shapes (That’s the way the cards originally came). Both show the QBs in throwing motion against a red background with a short description in black print on a yellow background. Lujack is EX-MT and Luckman is VG-EX, with 2 minor creases.
