1950 Topps Hopalong Cassidy Complete Master Set w/6 of 8 Foil Cards
High grade near-master set of the popular Hopalong Cassidy issue from Topps in 1950. Starring William Boyd, every kid anxiously awaited each TV episode to see Hopalong, sporting his famed black holster with silver pegs, taking out yet another bad guy! This near-master set has 6 of 8 foil cards (2 VG, 4 FR-GD; missing ‘Fool’s Gold’ and ‘Borrowed Trouble’) plus the full set of 230 spread over 8 subsets for a total of 238 cards. The non-foil cards grade a full 85% EX-MT or better (not considering where the panels are separated), 10% are EX and 5% slightly lesser; about 11 cards have creases and 7 are oc. Beautiful high grade set for the avid Hoppy collector! Find the missing 2 foils and have yourself a true master set!
