1950 Ty Cobb Signed Luncheon Menu (PSA)
The only peach on this menu comes in the baseball variety. This crisp luncheon menu from the Piedmont Driving Club in Atlanta, Georgia sports the moniker of the Georgia Peach, Ty Cobb. Perhaps one of the most respected ball players of all time (his 98.2% vote for Hall of Fame induction in 1936 stood as a record until Tom Seaver bested him in 1998) signed this menu in clean, clear blue ink, "Ty Cobb 1/24/50." Given that Cobb dated the autograph to the same date as is stamped on the menu, one can assume he was dining at the facility at the time. The 7.5x11" menu is clean with no creasing and only the very slightest stain near the bottom to the left of center as well as some toning on the verso down the left side (most likely due to scrapbook storage). This is one of the nicer autographs we've seen on a very clean canvas. A real 'peach' of an autograph for any aspiring collector. Comes with Full PSA LOA.
