1950 World Champion New York Yankees Team-Signed Baseball
The 1950 Yankees snagged their second of five straight Word Series crowns by sweeping the "Whiz Kids" Phillies. This official Harriage ball is cream colored and is distinguished by Joe DiMaggio's signature on the sweet spot. There are 21 others, including Frank Crosetti, Casey Stengel, Yogi Berra, Billy Martin, Phil Rizzuto and Johnny Mize. Signatures average 8 or better overall and the ball 7 out of 10. The Yankees won 98 games in 1950, enough to edge the Detroit Tigers by three games for their 17th pennant.
