1950s Baseball Gumball Coin-Op
From the 1950s, this Play Baseball coin-operated gumball machine is enclosed in a green metal console and stands 14" high with a 10 1/2 x 8" base. An illustration of a baseball player appears on the front, and the directions read, " Insert Penny. Pull knob all the way out. Snap spring below to shoot candy into playing field. Press button at left to release candy." The gumball is released and drops pachinko-style until you release it into the candy slot. The coin slot of the machine needs some adjustment; otherwise it is in good working condition and will make a cool addition to your collection.
