1950s Cleveland Barons AHL Game Worn Tie-Down Hockey Jersey

1950s Cleveland Barons AHL Game Worn Tie-Down Hockey Jersey

From the most successful franchise in American Hockey League history comes this classic royal blue tie-down jersey with #8 in white on both the front and back (the player identity remains a mystery). The team nickname appears in white across the upper chest and the jersey is pounded (in a good way!) with numerous team repairs. There are two tags: 1) Rawlings St. Louis 48 and 2) Cleveland Sport Goods. The Barons played between 1937 and 1973 and are not to be confused with the short-lived team of the same name that operated for two seasons in the NHL between 1976-78. They are the winners of 10 division titles and nine Calder Cups, the AHL equivalent of the Stanley Cup.
