1950s Cleveland Stadium Hot Dog Steamer
From the Cleveland Stadium auction comes this portable good looking chrome hot dog steamer. It seems quite heavy and bulky and was in use from the 1950s and 1960s to keep that hot dog nice and warm for the "fan in the stands." You can just see the steam rising on a cold day. Each side has an "Oscar Mayer is the Official Hot Dog of the Browns" paper label which was affixed over an older label. This hot dog steamer was a faithful prop during both football and baseball games as the stadium housed the Cleveland Browns, and is little more than a cherished moment in sports history now, only a memory to be passed along to future generations. Constructed of chrome with two doors on each side to take out the hot dogs and with handles to carry. Measures 10.5x21x14" deep, in EX-MT condition.
