1950s Coca Cola Stadium Vendor With Unopened Bottles
Here's the "real thing" - vintage soda pop from Coca-Cola that was bottled over half a century ago! It's all part of a set of 10 from different bottlers, marked and dated from the time on tape. Nine of the bottles have never been opened while one has been drained. The metal carrier - which urges patrons to "DRINK COCA-COLA" - features its original cloth strap and measures 16" x 6.5" x 7". It was used by stadium vendors back in the 1950s but you'll have to use your imagination as to which venue. There is paint loss and heavy wear that adds character. From a scientific standpoint, it's fascinating to see how the liquid has partially evaporated.
