1950s Hoot Evers Detroit Tigers Signed Game Used Bat

1950s Hoot Evers Detroit Tigers Signed Game Used Bat

Hoot Evers was a talented all-around player who played with reckless abandon for a dozen Major League seasons. Offered here is Hoot's 1950s H&B 125 model "V19" with his number "14" on the knob in black paint. Measuring 34.5" in length and weighs 32.5 ounces, the bat exhibits tremendous game use with a cracked handle (some small nails are holding the crack together), pine tar residue, checking, and bat rack marks. Inscribed and signed "To Ed, Best Wishes, Hoot Evers" in 7.5/10 black felt tip on the barrel.
