1950's Joe Palooka Empty Counter Display Box

Rarely seen 1950's Ham Fisher created Joe Palooka empty candy, toy, and traders card display box which originally held 60 toy packages. The toys were issued by the Comics Novelty Candy Corp. The smaller toy boxes that came inside of this display box, pictured one of twelve boxers on their reverse panel designated R437 by Burdick. This display box measures 12" by 10" by 5" and exhibits colorful Joe Palooka graphics. The display box is in overall very good condition with some light wear and foxing throughout on this rare piece.
