1950s Sportscasters and Sportswriters Signed Baseball
The legends of the diamond were brought to life by the legends of the microphone, and this game used Official National League (Giles) baseball sports a Who's Who of sports commentators from the 1950s - some in the Hall of Fame and others winners of various awards. In all, 21 signatures rate 7-8/10 and among the greats are Waite Hoyt, Jack Quinlan, Earl Lawson, Bob Prince, Dick Bingham, Vin Scully, Ritter Collett, to name just a few. Of interesting note is Mark Scott, who hosted the TV show Home Run Derby - he passed away in 1960.
