1951 George Kell Game Used Bat

1951 George Kell Game Used Bat

A ten-time All-Star and Hall of Famer, George Kell hit over .300 ten times, recorded the fewest strikeouts of any batting champion, once totaled six hits in a single game, and denied Ted Williams his third triple crown. The bat on offer here was used by Kell during his fabulous 1951 campaign (confirmed by the ordering records) when he batted .319 with a league-leading 191 hits and thirty-six doubles. The H&B 125 has model number "C166" stamped into the knob, measures 34" in length, and weighs thirty-one ounces.Despite missing a small portion of the back barrel (which probably chipped off during use), this exemplar still presents wonderfully and exhibits fine wear with "George Kell" in script and the H&B 125 centerbrand both showing good definition.
