1951 Scranton Red Sox vs. Wilkes-Barre Indians Figural Ticket
Minor league ball has its own traditions. This complete ticket is from opening night for the 1951 Scranton Red Sox, which took place on April 25, 1951 vs. the Wilkes-Barre Indians. The top of the ticket is shaped like a catcher's mitt while the bottom part is shaped like a baseball and has an official ballot for the "King of the Fans" contest. The Red Sox won the league championship that season. This uniquely shaped ticket measures approximately 3 x 6 1/2". NRMT.
