1952-53 St. Lawrence Sales Hockey Card Near-Set
In 1952 St. Lawrence Sales produced a 108-card set of hockey players from the Quebec Senior League, which at the time included future NHL stars Jean Beliveau and Jacques Plante. A popular and scarce issue, this collection contains all 108 pasteboards that were produced (there is a 17-A and 17-B). Cards grade 10% EX+ or better, 75% VG-EX to EX, 10% GD-VG and 5% lesser, with one card graded (#39 Beliveau, PSA 4). A popular regional set – for the hockey enthusiast.
