1952 Bowman Large Football Card Set
The 1952 Bowman Large is easily the most popular post war football set. Highly prized by collectors and investors alike, this set has everything one could ask for, beautiful images, several key rookies and hall of famers, and several difficult to find short print cards to which make the set a bit of a challenge to put together. Lucky for you we have done all the work...offered here is a complete mid to high grade set, with overall superior image quality and eye appeal. We have even gone out and had a few cards professionally graded by PSA. Highlights include PSA 7 # 19, 46 Donovan, 92, and 136. PSA 6 EX-MT #’s 1 Van Brocklin, 2 Graham, 3, 13. PSA 5 EX # 16 Gifford. PSA 5 EX (mc) # 144 Lansford (this is the last card in the set and is often found off center). This card appears to be more off center (about 95-5) top to bottom than miscut. Additional highlights are #’s 17 Tittle, and 30 Baugh both oc left to right 90-10. Furthermore cards of # 48 Halas, 78 Layne, and 142 Landry are all oc top to bottom 90-10. The previously mentioned cards all have EX or better corners and edges. The balance of the cards all present as well or slightly better, many cards appear to be NM but would be down graded because of centering issues. Overall, this is a very solid mid to upper grade set.
