1952 Jackie Robinson Signed Letter
This letter was typed on Jackie Robinson's letterhead. Robinson signed the bottom of the letter in black ink. His autograph is graded a spectacular 9/10. Except for a few light mailing folds, the letter itself is NRMT. Jackie wrote this letter to a gentleman who was writing his thesis at Syracuse University. The letter talks about the reason for the public's love of baseball being that "it has offered complete relaxation in a very enjoyable manner..." Robinson also talks about how baseball offers a diversion from everyone's daily chores, and how the army promotes baseball, as well.
