1953-54 Parkhurst #24 Maurice Richard Signed Card PSA PR 1 - Auto 10 (Pop 1 of 1 - Highest Graded)
<p>Opponents say that when Maurice Richard was approaching the goal with the puck, his eyes shone like burning coals. Richard loved to score and his forays down the right wing were legendary. He played 18 seasons in the NHL, all for the famed Montreal Canadiens. His teams won 8 Stanley Cups and Richard was a 14-time All-Star. He won the 1946-47 Hart memorial Trophy as the league MVP and scored 544 goals lifetime, adding 422 assists for 966 lifetime points.</p><p>This card is one of 100 in the 1953-54 Parkhurst Hockey Card set. The cards were grouped according to teams, with about 16-17 cards for each team in the NHL. The colorful cards each have a facsimile autograph, but this card adds a valuable actual Maurice Richard autograph in blue fountain pen ink along with Richard adding his number 9. Graded PSA PR 1, with a PSA/DNA certified 10 autograph. A nice find for a vintage NHL hockey aficionado.</p>
