Two-page correspondence on Philadelphia Athletics letterhead. Incredible content concerns the various dismantlings of the great dynasties. "…I did not brake (sic) up the team they broke up the team first the team was broke up by the Federal Leaague (sic) the team of 1929-30-31 was broken up buy (sic) the First National Bank we owed them four hundred Thousand Dollars and they wanted their money - so I sold the players…" Letter is addressed to Wally (Pipp), a former member of Mack's team.
