In the 1950’s, Maple Leaf Gum produced multiple high quality card sets, for both sports and popular stars of stage and screen. This set, complete at 48 cards, was issued in 1958 and represents famous Hollywood and TV personalities of the day, including Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Marlon Brando, Louis Armstrong, Elizabeth Taylor, Little Richard, Natalie Wood, Tony Curtis, Rock Hudson and Sophia Loren, as well as other less-known stars.
