1953 Topps Wings Cello Pack GAI 5.5
The Topps early non-sports issues featuring the color paintings of planes, created from actual photographs provided by the Herald Tribune, are captioned on the front in large white letters. Found on the back in a red panel, along with a written description of the aircraft is a "Friend or Foe" quiz (answer given on the next card in the sequence). The twelve cards inside the cello pack are of much better quality than the pack's given grade of EX+ (5.5) from GAI.
