1954 Larry Doby Coca-Cola Cardboard Advertising Display
Nearly extinct, easel backed/stand-up advertising display featuring Hall of Famer Larry Doby is one of only two that we have ever come across. The rarity of this fantastic Coke/baseball/Afro-American history crossover collectible can be attributed to the fact that, during that time, ads starring black players were only distributed and displayed in predominantly black neighborhoods. Despite its age, it has maintained its stunning eye appeal, bursting with vibrant color and sharp graphics. Several creases and some professional restoration are present, keeping the technical grade at VG. Easel back is unused and original string is also attached to the back in case hanging is preferred. Measures 15" high.
