1954 Ty Cobb Signed Bank Check
Baseball's first millionaire player, Ty Cobb, signed this bank check on January 3, 1954, paid to the Pacific Gas and Electric Company. Though a meager and banal eight dollars and three cents, this is a terrific item symbolic of Cobb's financial success in the game that he helped define. All in his hand, he signs "Tyrus R. Cobb" in NRMT condition. Check is EX, with two barely noticeable mailing folds. Truly For Deposit Only.
