Here's an extremely rare ball from the Polo Grounds and from the holiest of holies: The 1954 world Series. This was a four-game sweep and only two games were played at the Polo Grounds. This Warren Giles Official National League baseball is from either Game One or Game Two, giving it a 50/50 chance of being from Game One, which featured "The Catch." This is one of the most important games in World Series history. In fact, there is perhaps a 1 in 70 chance (~35 balls a game) that this could actually be the still undiscovered ball that nestled in Willie Mays' glove.
