1955 Billy Martin Game Used World Series Bat (35")

1955 Billy Martin Game Used World Series Bat (35")

One of the most difficult of all Bomber bats to come by is this Adirondack 72A personal model. Once held in the feisty fists of the Bronx’ favorite brawler and the Mick’s favorite drinking buddy, Billy Martin. With it he posted a .320 World Series average with a number of those hits coming when the Yanks needed them most. The Bums, though, would not fall this time and the Yanks had to wait another year. Stamped, “1955 World Series” on its chocolate colored barrel. Rare and remarkable piece shows some use from that memorable World Series for the Brooklyn Dodgers. It was their first Championship in 8 tries, and would prove to be the only one in the Bums’ history.
