Typed and hand signed Branch Rickey letter on Pittsburgh Pirates letterhead. In this letter dated July 30, 1955, Rickey explains how the Pirates have no openings for Rip Fanning and Carol Davis and, "nor are we likely to have any for 1956." Signed in black.
