1955 Oakland Oaks End of Ballpark Negatives (7)
The Oakland Oaks of the Pacific Coast League played their last game at Oaks Stadium in 1955. This lot of negatives (7) includes shots from their last game that year. It even includes a photo of Arthur Driefer, Stadium Superintendent, turning the key to lock up the place up after the final game with the Seals. There are also shots of Brick Laws, owner, paying his final respects to the Stadium. Interestingly the site is the current home of Pixar Animation Studios.
