1956 Brooklyn Dodgers Team Signed Baseball
National League honors went once again to the boys from Brooklyn in ’56 but the World Title would elude them once more. Next year, next year. Koufax, Snider, Hodges, Campanella, Furillo, Craig, Erskine, Alston, Reese, Zimmer, Neal, Drysdale, have signed this ONL (Giles) baseball in purple ink (with the exception of Reese in black) along with thirteen of their teammates not including Robinson. While all the signatures are dark and fluent they are slightly bled calling for a grade of 7/10. The lightly and evenly toned ball is also inscribed “1956 Dodgers” in blue ink.
