1956 Disneyland Autograph Book w/ Walt Disney & Mousketeers
In 1956, Johnny won a trip to Disneyland. Disneyland had been opened for less than a year and was the only one of its kind at that time. He documented his travels by having significant people along the way sign his book. From the airline pilot and staff, to the Mayor of Anaheim to the Manager of the Disneyland Hotel. From the park, Cliff Edwards signed as Jiminy Cricket (the voice in the Walt Disney classic <i>Pinocchio</i>), Jimmie Dodd ("The Mickey Mouse Club" author), & the Mouseketeers: Annette, Bobby Burgess, Sharon and Darlene (Corky). The best is a Walt Disney autograph, artfully executed, on almost a full page of the book. No inscription just “Walt Disney” in black ballpoint, the pitch of the letters is 2” to 2.5” high. Signature is a “10" and simply beautiful. Some with nice inscriptions. Condition of the book is EX-MT and measures 5x6”.
