1956 Dodgers Kimono & Travel Bag
A pair of souvenirs from the Dodgers voyage to the Far East following their long awaited World Series upset of the Yankees. Blue satin robe given to players during the 1956 Tour of Japan is embroidered with the oversized "Dodgers" and Brooklyn's "B" logo on the back while the front is decorated with baseball and floral designs. Stain and 1.5" hole on the reverse, otherwise EX. The blue nylon travel bag with white piping is printed in white with "Brooklyn Dodgers-Tour To Japan 1956," on one panel and "PAA-Pan American World Airways" on the opposite. Measurable wear to the interior with no significant flaws, EX.
