1956 Jackie Robinson Last Game Ticket Stub PSA EX-MT 6 (Pop 1 of 1 - Highest Graded)
His brief but historic career winding down, Jackie Robinson played his final regular season game for the Brooklyn Dodgers on September 30, 1956. Offered is a scarce ticket stub from that historic game. Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA. This the ONLY example of this ticket stub graded at this level by PSA, with NONE graded higher. It is also just one of twenty four listed in the PSA Population Report. Far rarer than the World Series Game 7 ticket, this very ticket got one enthusiastic fan into Ebbets Field where he/she had the opportunity to watch Jackie Robinson play 3rd base, bat clean-up, hit a home run in the third-inning and help the Dodgers beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 8-6. With illness and age taking their toll, Jackie unfortunately retired following that season's World Series.
