1956 Jean Beliveau Top Performer In Hockey Award
He was tops in his Sport. Montreal Canadiens star center Jean Beliveau delivered arguably his greatest season on the ice in 1955-56, scoring 47 goals and totaling 88 points to win the Art Ross and Hart trophies and earn a spot on the NHL's first-ever All-Star Team, ultimately leading the Habs to the first of five straight Stanley Cups. This prestigious award from Sport Magazine was the first of two the Quebec native earned over his career. Measuring roughly 15x10", the wood-based plaque reads: "SPORT MAGAZINE AWARD TOP PERFORMANCE IN HOCKEY 1956 JEAN BELIVEAU." It is in VG condition.
