1956 Pee Wee Reese National League Championship Ring

1956 Pee Wee Reese National League Championship Ring

Iridescent ring in NRMT condition was originally Pee Wee Reese’s cuff link, presented to him to commemorate his quest for the 1956 World Championship. This gorgeous piece emanates from the Reese family (LOA). Satisfied with the World Series Ring he received in 1955, The Captain custom ordered these cufflinks (this represents one of two cufflinks presented to him for the ’56 season). Surrounding words on top are “1956 Brooklyn National League Champions.” The half-karat diamond set in 10 karat yellow gold by Dieges & Clust has been made into a ring, the surrounding ring in 14 karat gold (size 11). Bottom of the original cuff link is stamped, “Deiges & Clust 10K”. And let us not forget this once belonged to Pee Wee Reese. It is in this regard on the same level (and in some ways exceeding) that of a Brooklyn Dodger Hall of Famer’s World Series Ring.
