1956 Roger Maris Pre Rookie Signed Baseball
This ball is snow-white and only one small (1/4") spot on a panel (without the Maris) prevents this ball from being in gem-mint quality. 26 bright blue ballpoint ink signatures include a gorgeous Roger Maris on a panel with Locklin, Altobelli, Gasque, Jones, Pitula, Nichols and Tomanek. Farrell, Murzewski, and Harrell share the sweet spot. Other signers include Young, Daley, Rodemoyer, Raines, Brissie, Beard, Gray, Hutchings, Nixon, Pawloski, Pope, Regalado and Spencer. Umpires Lon Warneke and Harry Geisel have also neatly signed. Few pre-rookie Maris items have ever surfaced. Unofficial ball is NRMT but for one spot (smaller than a dime) not on the panel with Maris. Signatures average 9/10 in blue ink.
