1956 Roy Campanella Signed Letter

1956 Roy Campanella Signed Letter

Here is a unique 15"x14" framed and matted letter from Dodgers Hall of Fame catcher Roy Campanella. The letter is dated March 6, 1956 and features a "Brookyln National League Baseball Club" letterhead complete with a Dodgers logo in the upper left hand side. Written from the Dodgers spring training headquarters in Vero Beach, Florida. The letter is addressed to a "Mr. Anthony Lo Bianco" of "Piazza Prints, Inc." Apparently Mr. Lo Bianco had previously requested Campanella's autograph to use in a wallpaper design. In response Campanella asks for a "check in the amount of $500." At the bottom is a beautiful 9/10 signature in blue pen ink. This piece is EX-MT and has JSA LOA.
