1957 Alan Freed Mr. Rock and Roll Movie Poster
From the 1957 film "Mister Rock and Roll" comes this 27" x 41" heavy cardboard poster. This was the third of five Alan Freed movies in the late '50s featuring the historic disc jockey's musical "finds" such as Chuck Berry, Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers, LaVern Baker, Clyde McPhatter, Brook Benton, Little Richard, Ferlin Husky, The Moonglows and Shaye Cogan. Decades before music videos exploded, movies such as these would be greeted with enthusiasm by teenagers who loved watching their favorite recording acts preforming on the big screen. Nicely framed to 28" x 42".
