1957 Gil Hodges Night Tray Presented to Gil Hodges

This stunning sterling silver tray was given to legendary Brooklyn Dodgers first baseman Gil Hodges on Gil Hodges Night at Ebbets Field. It contains engraved signatures of over 30 Dodgers players and coaches including Hall of Famers Pee Wee Reese, Duke Snider, Roy Campanella, Don Drysdale, Sandy Kofax and manager Walt Alston. Hodges was a “Gentle Giant” of a man and one of the most popular Dodgers and later managed the Mets to the 1969 World Series. This sparkling tray measures approximately 15” in diameter and is engraved “To Gil Hodges, From His Teammates, July 19, 1957.” This came straight from the Hodges family and a photograph of Hodges accepting the award is included.
