Very attractive bronze and wood is figural with a giant scroll and raised let-tering with olive branch. Presented to him in his retirement year of 1957 by the Children's Wear Salesmen's Guild. In huge letters "Jackie Robinson" with opus to him for his work in fighting juvenile delinquency. Apt for the times, with movies like Blackboard Jungle making teen crime a big issue. Pays homage as an "Outstanding Athlete of Our Era." Very solid 15x15" is marked by the "International Bronze Tablet Co." EX-MT.
