1958 Ty Cobb Signed Check PSA MINT 9
Personal check, dated January 3, 1958, signed in blue ink by "Tyrus R. Cobb." PSA has encapsulated the check and graded the signature MINT 9. The check, drawn on the "First National Bank of Nevada," is not made out to anyone, but bears a stamped endorsement on the reverse from the "Firestone Stores of Reno, Inc." The amount of the check is $173.81. Cobb's preprinted name appears along the left border. The check (8x3.25"), which has normal bank cancellation stamps and holes (none affecting the Cobb signature), displays two vertical folds and a tiny area of discoloration along the top border. In Very Good condition overall.
