1958 Willie Mays Armour Meats Giants Tabs (2)
Two different designs are featured in these rare lithoed tabs (similar to pins except that metal tabs are used to attach them instead of pin-backs), both featuring portraits of Willie Mays wearing a San Francisco Giants cap. These unusual items were issued with packages of Armour meat in 1958. One shows Mays inside a circle flanked by two baseballs (approx. 2" wide and 1 1/2" high); the other shows him inside a baseball diamond (approx. 1 1/2" wide and 2 1/4 " high). Both are NRMT.
